The technique used is photographic encaustic and wax pouring. The Bloody Week is the concluding episode of the Paris Commune that took place between May 21 and 28, 1871, during which the uprising was suppressed and its members executed en masse. In the work, each square shows the map of Paris with the movements of the troops and the retreat of the barricades, day by day.
