The fighting around the city walls is becoming more and more intense. Since nine in the morning, the Versailles cannons in the Bois de Boulogne have begun firing hundreds of shots. The same thing on the west side of Paris. Porte Maillot was attacked even more violently than usual. Paris is now completely surrounded and the Versailles troops are getting closer and closer to the Porte de Sèvres and the Porte d'Issy, at Point-du-Jour.
